BALAPOLIS is a production company established by Agata Szymańska and Magdalena Kamińska. Its filmography contains feature films and documentaries as well as mojority and minority international coproductions. Balapolis produces author-driven films that are unconventional and ground-breaking. The company handles also distribution. In 2022 Balapolis finished We Haven’t Lost Our Way, the latest film by Anka and Wilhelm Sasnal that had its premiere at Berlinale. Another production by Balapolis, The Hamlet Syndrome by Elwira Niewiera and Piotr Rosołowski, opens 62. Krakow Film festival. Currently, the company co-produces Hunter’s Son by Ricky Rijneke, produces White Courage directed by Marcin Koszałka and develops Simona Kossak directed by Adrian Panek.
